Ravenscliffe Castle

Ravenscliffe Neighbourhood

This is an old neighbourhood in Hamilton, Ontario (Canada) – named for one of the largest properties located there – Ravenscliffe.

Nestled at the foot of “Hamilton Mountain” (part of the Niagara Escarpment Biosphere Reserve), the homes range through many architectural styles and eras seldom seen today in their original renderings. Many were built by wealthy Scots families who funded much of the early growth of Hamilton.
