Cambridge Butterfly Conservancy
Located just outside the city of Cambridge (Ontario, Canada), the Conservancy is more than just a great place to spend an afternoon taking photos. A fully functional research and education facility located on 117 acres – including the environmentally sensitive Kossuth Bog. The 25,000 square foot indoor facility includes a 10,800 square foot tropical garden filled with 1000’s of free flying Butterflies from around the world, over 100 different varieties of tropical plants, waterfalls, streams, reflecting pools, Tropical Finches, Chinese Painted Quail and Red-Eared Slider Turtles. They have a great little Café on the premises, rooms available for education or other functions and are completely financed through private donations and admissions!
